I am an established scholar and curator of modern and contemporary art, especially the history of sculpture and its relationship to photography, design, and the built environment. I regularly publish and present on these topics, and maintain an active, independent curatorial practice. I frequently teach university courses, offer workshops, train docents and volunteers, and give public talks and lectures. As the founding principal of Sculptural Things, LLC, I also offer consulting and research services for museums, galleries, and other arts organizations as well as artists, artist estates/ foundations, and collectors.
